Capital City Norway

Perth is located on the Swan River in the south west of Australia and is one of the most remote state capitals in the world. It is closer to Singapore, East Timor and Indonesia than it is to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It became known as ‘The City of Lights” in 1962 when streetlights and houses were lit up as astronaut John Glenn orbited the earth on Friendship 7. Capital Punishment Deter

Many choose to support capital punishment in spite of conflicting evidence as to whether it is a deterrent or not. Their reasons are simple; it is fair retribution for one who has committed the ultimate crime of taking a life. The punishment should be comparably as severe as the crime, and we should not chance having the killer victimize more innocent people. There are too many cases where a killer has been released after supposed rehabilitation and has killed again. There are also many cases of killers, who have been sentenced to life, who found a way to kill someone in prison. As a small sample of this, take the time to view the web page called recidivism. This web page is on a site called pro-death penalty and the page lists examples of killers who have killed again. Be aware that the site is biased, but the examples can not be disputed: the facts are the facts. More often than not, those who commit murder would never do it again but this doesn't excuse the crime.
